WAKISO- On 05th Nov 22 , Kivumbi Earnest Benjamin, President Heal The Planet Global Organisation- HTP as a Guest of honour in Muwuye, Kasangati, Wakiso Uganda at an orphanage inspired PLE Candidates and guardians into unlimited potential. 

Immaculate Amongi ,the  Director of Eliashim orphanage and School is a former sex worker having done this in DRC, South Sudan and Kampala for 5 years. In her testimony, Amongi says was sexually abused repeatedly for 12 years since the age of 1 by uncles and grandfather who were taking care of her.

She now has 4 children each with different father and this was the inspiration to start the orphanage to change the lives of children.  “I gave out my hard built house to start this orphanage, I know I didn’t build it from perfect sources of money but this is what I can do for children.” Amongi said.

She is struggling to take care of 200 children, 50 of them are total orphans from different Ugandan districts at a Primary school she is operating in the area. Speaking to Heal The Planet, Amongi says the P7 Candidates are likely not to proceed with Secondary education because she doesn’t have the facility for that.

She thanks God that she never contracted HIV and today she is a blessing to innocent souls with charity work.

In a passionate address, Kivumbi said men must take responsibility of pregnancies and children they bring on earth. “Am suprised there no men here to attend these prayers for children, but am asking the women to do anything decent to take care of children if some men have not.” Kivumbi added “Its also the responsibility of Uganda to rescue the children with necessary education because if we do not, orphans with no education and future are time bombs, they can easily be lured into terrorism and extremism because they will risk lives after all have nothing to lose in case there asked to plant bombs.”

He quoted Nelson Mandela who said that “Its through education that a son of the miner can become the head of the mine.” Adding that if Barrack Obama’s father from Kenya wasn’t given a scholarship in USA we would not have the first Black US President.

Kivumbi shared his personal story how President Museveni gave him a State House scholarship to become a journalist.

Kivumbi promised to connect the orphanage to world of people like you who can support her cause.
