The Monday 29th Oct 2018 upcoming 1st Senior Citizens Convention is in high gear. Yesterday 31st July 2018, a Top official from the Prime Ministers Office held a meeting with Heal The Planet Global Organization-HTP delegates led by Kivumbi Earnest Benjamin at OPM/ Presidential Twin Towers.

The two hour meeting looked at preparations for the summit. Other senior government officials who have endorsed the convention include cabinet minister Hon Prof Ephraim Kamuntu, Hon Naome Kabasharira Women MP for Ntungamo  , opposition figure Hon Wafula Oguttu, Ex VP Gilbert Bukenya, Rotarian and World Bank official David Baguma and others.

Hon Kamuntu has signed a letter which HICGI News Agency has seen which has been forwarded to higher officers regarding the convention while His Excellency Bukenya has asked his colleagues to bless the idea.
