Tripoli, Libya – [13th May 2025] – Heal The Planet Global Organisation (HTP), in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations, is closely monitoring the deteriorating situation in Libya following the fatal shooting of a security officer in Tripoli.

The organisation expresses grave concern over the outbreak of gunfire and escalating violence, which poses a direct threat to civilian safety and regional stability.

“We strongly condemn the violence and urge all parties to cease hostilities immediately,” said Dr. Kivumbi Earnest Benjamin, L. H. D. (Hon) President, HTP. “This is a critical moment that demands restraint, de-escalation, and urgent dialogue to prevent further bloodshed.”

HTP calls on national and international stakeholders to support efforts for peace and safeguard the rights and lives of all Libyans.

منظمة Heal The Planet تحث على وقف فوري لإطلاق النار عقب الاضطرابات الدامية في طرابلس

طرابلس، ليبيا – [التاريخ] – تتابع منظمة Heal The Planet العالمية، الحاصلة على المركز الاستشاري الخاص لدى الأمم المتحدة، بقلق بالغ تطورات الأوضاع في ليبيا بعد مقتل أحد أفراد الأمن في طرابلس.

تعرب المنظمة عن قلقها الشديد إزاء تبادل إطلاق النار وتصاعد أعمال العنف، مما يشكل تهديدًا مباشرًا لأمن المدنيين واستقرار المنطقة.

HTP appelle à un cessez-le-feu immédiat après les violences meurtrières à Tripoli

Tripoli, Libye – [Date] – Heal The Planet Global Organisation (HTP), ayant le statut consultatif spécial auprès des Nations Unies, suit de près l’évolution préoccupante de la situation en Libye suite à la mort d’un agent de sécurité à Tripoli.

L’organisation exprime sa profonde inquiétude face aux échanges de tirs et à l’escalade de la violence, qui représentent une menace directe pour la sécurité des civils et la stabilité régionale.

« Nous condamnons fermement ces actes de violence et appelons toutes les parties à cesser immédiatement les hostilités », a déclaré une porte-parole de HTP. « C’est un moment critique qui exige retenue, désescalade et dialogue urgent pour éviter une nouvelle effusion de sang. »

HTP appelle les acteurs nationaux et internationaux à soutenir les efforts de paix et à protéger les droits et la vie de tous les Libyens.
